POSITION: Sous Chef

SALARY: 8,000 AED basic salary plus accommodation, transportation, food and other benefits

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Open to CHINESE nationals

Male or Female, 35 years old and below

Overseas candidates are welcome to apply

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or any related course

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel

Must be specializing in Dimsum and Wok

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Supervises the Outlet Kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel’s SOPs and standardized menu guidelines

Monitors all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost

Monitors regular standards of production to ensure highest level of quality

Participates in menu engineering

Ensures consistent on the job training sessions for workmates and subordinates

Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all times

Ensures that the outlet’s operational budget is in line and costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability
