Evaluation Analyst – World Food Programme

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Analyse qualitative and quantitative data and provide inputs to the Regional Evaluation Strategy and the report/oversight tools developed by the Unit
Support the Country Offices in RBC in the roll-out and conduct of Decentralized Evaluations at regional level (for all steps from planning to dissemination)
Support the technical review team of corporate project cycle reviewing and commenting on documents such as Country Strategic Plan/Interim Country Strategic Plans, and Annual Country Reports on behalf of the RBC Evaluation Unit;
Support the coordination and consolidation of comments and inputs to centralized evaluations (strategic, L2/L3, regional portfolio etc.) on behalf of RBC;
Liaise with internal unit counterparts to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration;
Support the identification, development and management of regional evaluation partnerships to collaborative working leading to improved evaluation culture within the framework of the UN reform;
Provide support to Country Offices on evaluation assisting them with analysis and queries. Where needed and when applicable the analysts is expected to travel to provide in-country management support to evaluation processes;
Provide the Head of Unit with periodic updates on key figures/data on evaluation for donor dissemination and reporting;
Maintain ownership and update of a tracking system for monitoring and managing decentralized evaluations management recommendations. Acting as the main master/focal point for the DE
Disseminate evaluation findings through innovative methods (videos, infographics, bulletins)
