STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced University Degree, preferably in Gender Studies, International development, International Affairs, Social and Political Sciences, or other related fields, or First University Degree with additional years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
At least 3-5 years of experience working in Programme and/or Gender with deepened technical knowledge of GEWE.
Has deepened technical knowledge through exposure to technical teams.
Has provided input into policy discussions and decisions.
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of major humanitarian and development challenges and issues, specifically strategies and/or policies at global/regional/national level for enhanced GEWE;
Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software packages, such as Microsoft Word and Power Point;
Proficient in the use of the data analytical tools (e.g.: excel and SPSS and/or Stata);
Ability to use the qualitative and quantitative techniques to conduct social researches;
Capacity to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues in the Regional Bureau and Country Offices;
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outputs;
Ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds;
